OTAY RANCH FIVE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
RULES AND REGULATIONS
EFFECTIVE APRIL 18, 2014
COMMUNITY LIVING REQUIRES THE FULL COOPERATION OF ALL RESIDENTS. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT EACH OWNER/RESIDENT FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS, IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT ALL THE RESIDENTS OF OTAY RANCH FIVE ENJOY THE QUALITY OF LIFE OFFERED BY THIS WONDERFUL COMMUNITY.
The Association’s Board of Directors, pursuant to the authority granted to it in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (Declaration) and the Bylaws, has established the following Rules and Regulations which are in part taken directly from the Declaration. The success of any community is founded on the principles of common decency, respect and consideration for the basic rights of neighbors. These Rules and Regulations (Rules) will serve as a ready reminder and reference of the various obligations we have to one another in our day-to-day living.
The Association’s authority to enforce the governing documents, including the Declaration and these Rules is contained in the Declaration and the Bylaws, both of which were given to you at the time you purchased your home in Otay Ranch Five.
These Rules are intended to supplement the Declaration — not replace them. All provisions of the Declaration, whether referenced in this document or not, remain in full effect and must be adhered to by all owners, other residents, guests and invitees. It is the responsibility of each owner to ensure that all residents, guests and invitees of his or her home are aware of, and comply with, the restrictions and prohibitions contained in the governing documents, including these Rules and the Declaration. Please note that it is the owner, as a member of the Association, who is responsible and potentially liable for the conduct of all tenants and other residents, guests and invitees of his or her home.
