  1. What are “ground cover requirements”?


If you receive a notice regarding ground cover, it is not regarding your grass. These notices are usually for planter areas. The Landscape Maintenance Rules state “2. Landscaping shall be undertaken and maintained in the front yard, side yard, and slope if any, so that no bare areas are visible from the street or adjoining residents.”  In order to correct this issue, mulch, bark, rocks or plant material should be added to this area.


  1. What is required to change anything in my landscape?


An architectural application is required to be completed and submitted to Management prior to making any changes to landscape in the front or back of your property. The application is available on the Associations website at under forms.


  1. What items are prohibited within the Community?

  1. Why do I need to re-seed or re-sod?


If you received a notice to re-seed or re-sod your property this likely because your grass is patchy or what you think is your grass has been over taken by weeds that need to be removed.


  1. There is a severe drought how do I comply considering I am supposed to reduce watering?


Changes can be made to landscape to include artificial turf, drought tolerant plant materials and hardscape. To move forward with any changes to your landscape and architectural request must first be submitted to the Board of Directors and is available at
